As a marketer, I’m always looking out for talent, influencers and trending artists. What I’ve come to find is that there is a whole world out there of various stars that, how can I put it, didn’t become stars in the conventional way. Meaning, when I was growing up, there weren’t as many channels as there are today. Talents today become famous on their own, simply by mastering social media.
When researching and looking for new talent, I suddenly found an array of sources – famous Vine stars, famous YouTube stars, famous vloggers, famous Musical.ly stars, etc. The list goes on and on….
With new social media platforms available – the world is giving a chance to almost anyone out there to become a star and show their talent. Fashionistas get to show off their talent on Instagram; makeup artists get millions of hits for every YouTube tutorial; the funny guys out there get millions of views for every Vine and or Musical.ly post. Again, there’s no end.
Standing out from the crowd
But the one thing all of these channels have in common is that you can’t hide from the camera. What’s unique about HearMeOut is that it’s powered by voice, and only voice.
Is it all about momentum?
Firstly, this can be your chance to show off your talent and become one of the first HearMeOut big stars! The majority of popular Vine stars and other new social media stars had the opportunity to take advantage of their respective platform’s momentum. A new app was available, and they were the first to jump on the opportunity and gain popularity.
HearMeOut is powered by voice and only voice, so there’s no need to pamper yourself. You can start immediately. Simply post your 42-second recording and let everyone else do the work.
How can you gain popularity? HearMeOut allows you to share your posts on Facebook and Twitter, allowing your friends who aren’t on HearMeOut to listen as well.
Be sure to keep an eye out for special campaigns: For example, there is currently a #CoverMe campaign. All you need to do is post your 42 second cover, and use the hashtag #CoverMe – whoever posts the cover with the most likes will win a $50 Amazon gift card.
So, with so many social media platforms out there, each one of us needs to find the one that suits us best.
Vine may have died, but this is not the death of social media, I can tell you that.
